Moving Right Along
Well it's been a fun and stressful month for me. I've had a chance to work with a lot of awesome people and I've been hearing some awesome stuff about my tooling! Here are just a few examples:
Here is what Tim from Australia had to say about my Lug Vise:
I've been meaning to drop you a note for weeks. Got the lug vice in the mail. I'm absolutely thrilled with it. Works brilliantly.
And Jay from Phantasm Cycle Works said this about my Bringheli Rear Adapter:
Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Todd Farr is making tools that update the Bringheli frame jig to be even easier to use, more accurate, and it even utilizes Anvil's dummy axles
And one more from Glenn at Daltex Custom Bicycles on the Bringheli Adapter:
The Bringheli rear upgrade works fantastic. Enough f****** around. Hurry up with the front upgrade. Gt
It's been a lot of hard work and I've been going full speed ahead even while working my other job. It's nice to finally see some progress, and that FARR Frameworks is moving forward.
With that being said here are some pictures of the tooling I've been working on the last few weeks
On the Bicycle Front, things are equally as exciting. I'm working on a frame for a really good friend of mine and my photographer Jeff Zimmerman. This has a lot of new elements so it's been a fun and challenging build so far. It does suck a little bit that I don't have access to my Nichols Mitering Machine right now, but I was able to quickly miter the tubes with the Prototrac, Paragon Blocks and an angle finder. The math was a little more time consuming than just C-C dimensions, but I'm an Engineer so I actually enjoyed it!
And Finally, my man Neil Cernitz is killing it, as always, on Kyle's Paint Job. This one is really going to be special. I have these spy shots...
