So You're Ready To Ride a MOONRAKER?

Ordering a custom MOONRAKER frame starts with a conversation.  I love bicycles and I love talking bicycles with people who are passionate about them.  If you are local to the Marin Country, CA area we can meet up in person and discuss your wants and desires, and why you are looking to go the custom bicycle route.  If you are not local we can talk via email, Zoom or phone, whichever you prefer.

Once we have established communication we will look at every aspect of your new bike.  I prefer to build complete bikes as this gives us full control over the experience and I am more than happy to give you component recommendations based on the type of riding you plan on doing.  Once we have decided a direction, I will need to obtain certain body measurements so I can custom tailor the design to your specific proportions.  Using these measurements, I plug them into a parametric Solidworks file based off my own design and programming.  The values will auto-generate a starting point for your custom frame geometry. 

I will make any adjustments, improvements, and changes based off our conversation and my own experience building framesets. Once the final design is finished I will send a drawing to you for approval along with a finalized quotation, and approximate lead time.  When approved I require a $500 non-refundable deposit to get your build in queue.  

During the build you can follow my Instagram and Flickr accounts as well as contact me with any questions, ideas, concerns, etc. Once the frame is finished I require the remaining balance to be paid before delivery.  If you are local, I can bring the bike to you for final adjustments and fitting!

Below is a list of Introductory base pricing and common options.  If you do not see what you are looking for just ask!   I am taking orders for Lugged, Fillet Brazed and TIG frames.

TIG Frame:  Starts at $1200.00 - This includes a Chris King Headset, custome CNC top cap, custom CNC seat binder, a single color wet paint with contrasting logo (additional colors will be covered by the customer) and a Custom Blended Tubeset.

Optional Upgrades:

• Internal Cable Routing: $50.00 per Cable

• Disk Brake Mounts: $100.00 +

• S-bend Seatstays and Chainstays: $100.00

Built Kits are available from all the top manufacturers including Campagnolo, Shimano and SRAM.  These are competitively priced and hand assembled onto your completed frame using the utmost care.  Handbuilt wheelsets to accompany these kits and meet a variety of needs are available as well.
