Crafted from durable 0.080” thick aluminum, our Anti-Crack Ring effectively spreads the load of each screw across the entire surface, minimizing the risk of cracks and ensuring a secure installation.

Installation Information
  • Additional Precautions: Use a compression method or firing strip inside the van for added stability, avoiding reliance solely on self-tapping screws provided with the MaxxAir Fan.
  • Even Tightening: Ensure all bolts are tightened evenly in a criss-cross pattern for uniform seating.
  • Seal After Finishing: We recommend to seal over the Anti-Crack Ring and MaxxFan bezel with Dicor Lap Sealant or Flexseal after installation

Perfect Addition!

The anti-crack ring allows and provides uniform distribution of pressure onto the MaxAir mounting ring so the adhesive/sealant of choice distributed evenly. If you are using butyl tape this is especially important. Tighten your nuts, then come back later and cinch them further until the excess has oozed out. Use your provided butyl trim tool. Amazing Stuff!
